Wearable Art - Jazz Up Your Jeans

I made this wearable art intended to join the jazz-up your jeans contest for our Christmas party which was held last December 1, 2007 at the Hotel Intercon. Unfortunately, without us knowing, there were changes on the theme which became Winter Wonderland. Some of our colleagues and guests are wearing winter clothings and some are in their jazzed up jeans, so no judging was held for the jazz-up your jeans but rather opt to give a prize for best in winter clothing get up. I used the following materials to decorate my jeans. Autumn leaves clear stamps, Making memories foam stamps, acrylic paints, tulip fabric paints, crystals and metallic studs, and glitters.

Getting Started

Scrapbooking? Haven't tried it yet. I'm a newbie. It will be my first time to do scrapbooking and also my first time to write a blog, Oh! my!

It was late this morning when I texted my friend, batchmate, momsmate, Issa, telling her, that I'm interested to do some scrapbooking of our pictures. Actually, when I realized that I really have to try this hobby, it was Issa who came first into my mind, because I've known her doing these kind of stuff for quite long. She invited me to come over to their house to discuss these things about getting started. She showed me some of her works, and they are really beautiful, neat and very inspiring. I also met her friend Timi who is also a member of LB scrapaholics. She also mentioned Cors, who's also into scrapbooking and my momsmate in LBFST. I made some online purchases of scrapbooking materials, tools and machine. I couldn't wait to see and try those stuff and start my scrapbooking.
